What this website does not do
- It sets no cookies.
- It embeds no analytics, advertising or tracking services.
- It loads no fonts, scripts or images from other servers; everything comes from this domain.
- It contains no forms and therefore collects no input.
- It builds no profiles and links nothing across websites.
Local storage for the theme
When you switch between the light and dark theme at the top right, your browser remembers that choice under the entry “abdriven-theme” in local storage. The entry never leaves your browser, is never read by us, and contains nothing but the word “light” or “dark”.
You can delete it at any time through your browser’s site settings. The legal basis is your consent given by switching (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG); if you do not switch, nothing is stored.
Server log files
When you open this website, the technically necessary connection data that any web server needs to deliver a page is processed: IP address, time, requested address, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system.
The application itself writes no access logs. The IP address is held briefly in memory to fend off excessive requests and is not stored permanently. Any logs kept by our hosting provider’s upstream web server serve only secure operation.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and trouble-free operation of this website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Getting in touch
If you write to us or call us, we process what you tell us in order to answer. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We delete the details once they are no longer needed and no retention period stands in the way.
The product itself
abdriven runs on our customers’ own infrastructure. Visitor data from the websites being tested therefore never reaches us. The operator in each case is the controller for that processing; what is stored is described on our privacy and compliance page.
Your rights
- Access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR).
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR).
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR).
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR).
- Withdrawal of a consent you gave, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).
Right to complain
You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority. The one responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision, Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
